Hi! I’m Micah! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Science, Civil Environment Engineering with a minor in Energy and Sustainability at University of Houston. I also have my music theory certification from the University of Edinburgh. I have over 4 years of teaching and tutoring experience working in STEM topics with all ages and many neurodiverse profiles. I currently teach piano in group and private lessons at HISD. An important lesson I hope to pass on to my students is that perseverance is your best friend. I love the “AH-HA” moment that my students get when they learn something new. I feel like I make a lifelong impact teaching my students the strategies to make them successful!
