Hi! I’m Parrish! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game. I have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in English at Georgia State University. I also have a master’s in Creative Writing at Warren Wilson College and I am currently working on my master’s in Library and Information Science at University of Southern Mississippi. I have 7 years of tutoring and teaching experience for all ages. I won the Houston Texans Stars in the Classroom Award in 2020, have received several fellowships along my education journey, and have published over a dozen of my original poems. The lesson I want to pass on to my students is that hard work and persistence significantly impacts outcomes, and witnessing your progress is unparalleled. Therefore, persist in your objectives, even if it necessitates altering your approach!
