Hi! I’m Yvan! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game. I have a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at University of North Texas. I have an education degree with a focus on English as a Second Language. I have over 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I believe that the best way to master anything starts with learning how to fine-tune your executive functioning skills first. These skills are the foundation needed to increase our success in life. I want to teach students that no matter what life throws at them, they can be equipped with the tools, knowledge to get through it all. I love seeing the positive impact that I have on my students’ lives and being able to celebrate their accomplishments with them!
